Each guest writes the first pages of their future best-selling short story or novel, describing the main characters and the setting and introducing the plot.

Each participant passes their portion to another guest who embellishes the story (set a limit on how much text can be added by one writer), passes it along again and so forth until it is decided that every author must resolve the plot of the story they hold.

At the final party, the stories can be read, awards presented, agents hired, publishers selected and royalties divvied.
