Decorate a room (we used the fellowship hall at church) with outdoor things such as:

Trees

Tents

Picnic Tables with Oil Lamps

Leaves All Over the Floor

Fake Campfire With Wood Stumps All Around

In one corner make it look like Red Green's lodge or a log cabin room, i.e. rocking chair, lamp and table etc.

Have a chili cookoff with muffins for food and apple crisps and different berry crisps for dessert.

Have the guests dress in their favorite outdoor activity clothing. At our party some came dressed as Red Green and friends.

Before the party, gather 2 different boxes of any and all kinds of junk:

Pipes

Old Parts To Things

Paper Plates

Screws

Toilet seats

Divide the group into 2 teams.

Give each group a large roll of duct tape and a box of junk.

Give them 30 to 45 minutes to create an invention (just like Red Green does on TV).

The outcome is fun and full of activity.

You can even have a Red Green skit or 2 done by some of the people attending.

It is a fun filled event!
